Concept2 Model E

What is Concept2 Model E?
The Concept2 Model E (now called RowErg Tall) uses the same flywheel, PM5, and chain mechanism as the standard RowErg (Model D). The key difference is seat height: 20 inches vs 14 inches. This higher seat makes getting on and off easier for people with mobility limitations, older adults, and taller individuals. The Model E is common in commercial gyms, rehabilitation centres, and CrossFit boxes. Performance is identical between Model D and Model E — splits, watts, and drag factor calculations are the same. The Model E also has a slightly larger footprint and weighs approximately 10 pounds more. It does not fold for storage, unlike the Model D/standard RowErg.
How Watta Uses Concept2 Model E
Watta works identically with both Model D and Model E — the PM5 display and data output are the same. Photos from either machine produce the same OCR data extraction and Effort Score calculations.
